Any suggestion to jettison Islam over it's misapplication is like trying to propose "Throw the baby out with the shower water".

 

Qur'an is the Criterion for Muslims (Yes, even over hadith) so those who want to connect the killing to Islam must quote it's primary source where they will not find any punishment over not covering the head.

 

That said, please keep in mind that Aqsa was not killed for not doing her homework; rather allegedly for shunning hijab, so we cannot, escape from the murders connection to religion. I think the issue then becomes one of misapplication of religion).

 

As Dr. Phil says "You cannot change what you don't acknowledge!!"

 

Some members quote historical atrocities by non Muslims to Muslims. Again, there can be no equivalency because they may be doing it for economic or other reasons, but not in the name of God (or their faith).

 

Let cooler heads prevail, and can we please avoid personal attacks?
