Your comments about Ms. Farzana Hassan’s posting are worthy of interest and thought provoking 

“As an Islamic scholar, she has of course, beautifully phrased her opinion but it is very puzzling. Why?” 

Ms. Farzana Hassan is not the only one who suffers from confusion and puzzlement but the entire Muslim nation (1.5 billion people) are living in this Abyss of darkness. At this moment, this nation is like a mindless and directionless herd of black sheep and moreover the entire nation is the patient of confusion and uncertainty.

The Quranic education is not eye opening but it is mind opening and Ms. Farzana Hassan should not just use the yard stick of the Quran only for Hajab but also for other rituals and traditions of Islam. She should use the gauge of the Quran to authenticate the most important rituals of Islam (listed below). It is the claim of Islamic priesthood that by following these rituals the entire Muslim Ummah will go in to Paradise. However, they overlook the fact that currently whole Muslim nation is breathing in the living burning inferno of hell.

Ø     The Quran does not accept any Shariah Law. To mix shariah law with the Qur’anic charter is the rebellious action against the constitution of the Qur’an.

Ø     It is the Shariah law which has fabricated the five times prayers, fasting, zakat, fatrana, Eid ul dhah, Eid ul Fitar and the last sermon of Mohammad.

Ø     It is Shariah law which has invented Azan [call for prayer] and the rest of the entire mambo Jumbo [excluding the Quran] which Muslims are reciting in their supplications.

Ø     It is the Shariah law which has fabricated Shiah and Sunni kind of Darood and Islam.

Ø     It is the Shariah law which has created sect in the Islam against the education of the Quran.

Ø     It is shariah law which has provided the base to build mosques based on the sect and the Quran orders to demolish all these nests of burglars.

Ø     According to the Qur’anic education, Allah of the Quran is very friendly and He does not give any punishment to any of his creatures. It is the human being who put himself in a state of chaos or disorder or suffering because of his/her evil actions.

Certainly Ms. Farzana Hassan will not use the yard stick of the Quran to check the authenticity of all of the above time wasting and useless rituals. She knows that if she will do it then she will have to say good-bye to all of the meaningless traditions and customs.   

Now it is the time to check the legitimacy of the Hajab from the noble and Majestic education of the Quran.

The Quran has used the word Hajab in the following verse in different shades and meanings:

Ø     Barrier between the reformer group of people and their opponents.[7:46, and 41:5]

Ø     In the notion of  moderator  during  the question and answer session of  the Qur’anic lectures and discourses.[33:53]

Ø     Disappearing of the horses during the time of military parade  in the view of Apostle Soloman.[38:32]

Ø     An intervene between the Apostle and Allah  when he receives the revelation by the communicating media force Gabriel.[42:51]

Ø     An imperceptible curtain  between the mind of those people who do not listen to the Message of the Quran.[17:45]

Ø      To isolate oneself from his /her nation so they are no longer in sight of their foes. To create a barrier of such is to separate himself /herself from any thing.[19:17]  

In all of the above verses the Quran has not used the idiom of Hajab in the connotation of veil or scarf, modesty, bashfulness and shame for women. It is the Islamic clerics who innovated this non Qur’anic practice in order suppress the God gifted basic rights of women and their best capabilities and abilities.
