FEROZ KARMALLY

"Quran on Freedom and Human Rights"

 Reply to Rafi Aamer
Dear Rafi

I choose not to respond directly to Mr. Sherazi who would prefer personal attacks by saying:
There is no room for the idiosyncrasies of such blockhead dimwits, and morally corrupt individuals.

The translation of the verse,
"When you read the Quran we place between you and those who do not believe in the hereafter an invisible barrier. And we place shields on their hearts and deafness in their ears to PREVENT them from UNDERSTANDING. Consequently when you preach your Lord using the QURAN ALONE, they run away in aversion."

can be easily done from the arabic. The words rab, Quran, Wahdahu etc. are very clear. That is perhaps why Mr. Sherazi does not translate it or post the arabic. Furthermore, Mr. Sherazi continues to propagate his lie that I believe Muhammad was not the last prophet. Quran is very clear that Muhammad was 'a messenger of God and the final prophet' (33:40) but Mr. Sherazi is unable or unwilling to accept this fact.

One look at 'inal allah ha ala kule shayen kadeer' tells you that the voluminous translation Mr. Sherazi gives it is because of his practice of taking his opinion and ego and passing it off as the truth.  If Mr. Sherazi does not believe that there is a right Islam based on Quran alone, and a wrong Islam based on scholars opinions, then why is he rejecting scholars, and why is he taking Quran alone? He contradicts his own statements, and comes up with ridiculous conclusions (e.g. that I hold 'non-quranic' prayers in my basement). He does not even know whether I have a rancher or a house with a basement! Investigating the facts is beyond his comprehension.

The blasphemy of Mr. Sherazi is quite apparent from his statement that contradicts 'tauhid' - Mr. Feroz’s Islam revolves around certain non Qur’anic rituals like ‘worship of one God’.  Certainly Mr. Sherazi would not want to have anything to do with worship of one God - how else could he worship his ego? Like satan, he refuses to bow down before his almighty creator.

The Quran clearly states, "I did not create the humans and jinns except to worship ME alone' (51:56).  The purpose of our existence is quite clearly spelt out here, whether one agrees or not, likes or dislikes.

Regards

Feroz
