"Quran on Freedom and Human Rights"

Mr. Aziz Ahmed
As usual a very thought provoking reply to Javed Chaudhry. Here is the answer from the Quran to your question,

How come then, one may ask, so many cooks, chefs and master chefs have not been able to get this recipe right? Is it that the ingredients that were used in the original recipe and the conditions under which the dish was first prepared are not available any more or is it that the cooks are not using the right quantities given in the recipe?  Adding too much salt and hot pepper? Or is it that all the cooks, chefs and master chefs have been consistently lousy?

Recipe says: Quran tells muslims not to associate anyone (shirk) with God.  They consistently mention Muhammad alongside God, even in their prayers and azan.
[39:45] When GOD ALONE is mentioned, the hearts of those who do not believe in the Hereafter shrink with aversion. But when others are mentioned beside Him, they become satisfied
[40:10] Those who disbelieve will be told, "GOD's abhorrence towards you is even worse than your own abhorrence towards yourselves. For you were invited to believe, but you chose to disbelieve."
40:11] They will say, "Our Lord, you have put us to death twice,* and You gave us two lives; now we have confessed our sins. Is there any way out?"
40:12] This is because when GOD ALONE was advocated, you disbelieved, but when others were mentioned beside Him, you believed. Therefore, GOD's judgment has been issued; He is the Most High, the Great

Stubborness - they think they are following the recipe
[6:22] On the day when we summon them all, we will ask the idol worshipers, "Where are the idols you set up?"
6:23] Their disastrous response will be, "By GOD our Lord, we never were idol worshipers."*
[6:24] Note how they lied to themselves, and how the idols they had invented have abandoned them.

The muslims do not believe they are committing idol worship when they clearly are doing it en masse.

But the recipe has been completely messed up in their minds.  The correct recipe is withheld until they smarten up.(if they smarten up)
[17:45] When you read the Quran, we place between you and those who do not believe in the Hereafter an invisible barrier
[17:46] We place shields around their minds, to prevent them from understanding it, and deafness in their ears. And when you preach your Lord, using the Quran alone,* they run away in aversion

If they do not understand the recipe how can they cook the dish?

Indeed, even the prophet Muhammad will disown the muslims on the Day of Judgement for not following the recipe
[25:25] The heaven will break apart, into masses of clouds, and the angels will descend in multitudes
[25:26] All sovereignty on that day belongs to the Most Gracious. For the disbelievers, it will be a difficult day.
[25:27] The day will come when the transgressor will bite his hands (in anguish) and say, "Alas, I wish I had followed the path with the messenger
[25:28] "Alas, woe to me, I wish I did not take that person as a friend
[25:29] "He has led me away from the message after it came to me. Indeed, the devil lets down his human victims."
[25:30] The messenger will say, "My Lord, my people have deserted this Quran."

Instead of upholding Quran alone, they uphold Hadith (they mix other recipes)
[77:50] Which Hadith, other than this, do they uphold?

That is why Quran tells us that most people, including most muslims are going to hell
[36:7] It has been predetermined that most of them do not believe

[12:103] Most people, no matter what you do, will not believe
[12:106] The majority of those who believe in GOD do not do so without committing idol worship
[68:35] Shall we treat the muslims like the criminals?

[68:36] What is wrong with your logic?
68:37] Do you have another book to uphold?
[68:38] In it, do you find anything you want?

Clearly Hadith is singled out as the culprit here. That is the dish that is produced and presented.  God gave them the recipe (Quran) and they produced the dish (Hadith).  They turned a culinary delight into a recipe for disaster.
