Pervaiz Sahib,
I suggest that this subject should be started as a new topic for discussion. We keep hearing of possible disintegration of Pakistan. Just as Mr. Zuberi has indicated, I do not believe disintegration will take place, but I am sure there are many inside and outside the country who would like to see that happening. Pakistan authorities are fully aware of what is going on in the country and why. During 1970s and 80s, there was a talk of Sindhi separation. Pakistan is not Yugoslavia, has very little in common with that from cultural, religious or political point of view. The 3% Balochis or 10-12% Sindhis do not have the clout to breakup Pakistan. The regional feudal lords, occasionally try to get foreign help to set up their own little empire to be the local kings. These are the people who are devoid of national priorities and have no sense of the future of their own province, region or the country. For personal benefits they are ready sell their souls along with their mothers. These are the kind of people who lost India to the British trading company.
Pakistan’s present major problem is that it is being forced to fight against the real Afghanis. Pakistani public does not like it, its rulers are doing it very reluctantly; they are under tremendous pressure and threat from America. Of course, Pakistan’s own internal problems do not help the situation either. The poverty, lack of education and most of all wrong interpretation and misunderstanding of Islam are additional problems.
America is a sinking ship, it is on its last legs before the neocons completely destroy it. America can only do one thing, kill and destroy. It does little else outside its own boundaries. America cannot stay the sole superpower for long on the borrowed money.
The parasites like Karzai, do not help the situation. Twenty five years ago, when the Soviets were in Afghanistan, they had their own puppets in place just as, the US has Karazai to be the emperor of Kabul today. Both, Karzai and the US are hurting Pakistan.
Let me say this clearly, America is not fighting against Islamic terrorism; America is creating terrorism against Islam and Muslim countries. September 11 was the starting point for the terrorism against Islam.
