Dear Rafi Sahib,
Long time no see and
no hear. Its good to see you back on ground in one
piece. The membership of MCC is some thing you can
happily live without. I don’t think you need the
membership of an organization which is nothing
more than a few members who are ‘carbon copies’ of
each other and a coffee table controlled by a
narrow minded dictator with a hidden agenda longer
than your both arms put together.
After reading about
your rough flight, I was planning to give you a
phone call, I will do that this evening, if its ok
with you. I will tell you all about the Averroes
Press that wasted no time in posting your chapter
7 complimentary statement on CMU. I wonder if they
will post your overall flight experience? Perhaps
not. In that case, if you have no objection, I
will.
Don’t feel sorry for
the black goat. That is customary to bribe gods to
get things done for the loved ones – and of course
don’t overlook the opportunity for feast that it
provides for the rest of us – fresh kidneys fried
in butter using special Shan masalas, the
rack of chop BBQed with all the trimmings, the
Qorma made out of the legs. Why do you think all
the Mullahs are so over weight ? (unfortunately,
that applies to me too in spite of the fact that I
am not a Mullah
J
).
Regards,
Javed
