Bhutto's son, husband to lead party

I am dumbfounded that Benazir Bhutto's husband and son are the new leaders of the Pakistan People's Party, as per her will. What happened to the democracy that she was supposed to be supporting? Shouldn't the party membership get to elect a new leader instead of this "in-family-succession"? Isn't this what she accused others of?
