Cost of Disunity

The injustice begets disunity and a disunited nation is like a corps which invites vultures whether it is a dry corpse like Afghanistan, Somalia or juicy corps like Iraq.

Afghani against Afghani The northern alliance was on the left, right and in front of invaders to kill their countrymen and brothers in Islam en-mass. They provided intelligence to invaders of bombing targets and later packed hundreds of their countrymen  in containers and let them die the death of suffocation. Till to date Afghanis are killing their countrymen shoulder to shoulder with invaders

Iraqi against Iraqi. The Iraqi resistance against Saddam (Ahmad Chalabi just to name one) was on the left, right and in front of CIA to convince them that there are WMD’s, Invaders will be garlanded with flowers, juicy oil contracts will be given to countries who will take the initiative to topple Saddam etc etc. Iraqi Kurds provided all the logistics and troops needed to invaders to defeat their government. Till today Iraqi’s are killing Iraqi’s 100 times more than the invaders have killed.

Somali against Somali. Somali war lords were quick to invite Ethiopians to fight a faction of their own country men and bomb their capital regardless of the extent of destruction & damage, and rejoiced when US air force joined the foray. Till today Somali’s are killing their own country men with support from invaders.

Cubans United The biggest thorn by the side of USA since 1959, boycotted, invaded, sanctioned but Cubans are united, their country is alive no vulture can come near to them.

North Koreans United. Despite all the threats, sanctions, North Korea does what it likes to do and nobody dares to take any action as they know the strength of unity.

Venezuelans United. Chavez of Venezuela is always on warpath and leaves no occasion to insult president of USA. Like Iraq it is also oil rich and very close to USA but again so far Venezuelans are united they don’t have to worry of any invasion.

I purposely left Iran to avoid charges of sectarianism by erstwhile members of FOTH.

The point is very clear to me. Regardless of religion or ethnicity, if a country is ruled by a just government (even as just as our beloved country) the countrymen are united and outside forces will not dare to take advantage.

Why on earth Afghanis, Iraqis, Somalis can't sit together and resolve their differences among themselves and live peacefully feeling secure, denying fun to hundreds of millions who would not give two hoots to the death and destruction, as long as it takes place in a far away land only to provide them with colorful fireworks entertainment for the evening news on TV, watching the brave uniformed terrorists in Abram tanks firing on un-armed helpless citizens.

I know the answer from majority of FOTH members would be that they are killing each other because their enemies are creating rift between them. You may be right but for a minority of members it is hard to swallow.
