Thanks for your recent letter offering me the opportunity of the last word. While I appreciate your generosity, I really would not find any consolation in having the last word or the last laugh. As you have declared your retirement from the discussion of this subject, I will not add any thing to it to address it to you. But, of course we can discuss million other topics, the sky is the limit.
