"CAN WE SAY GOODBYE TO GOD?"

dear Gill sahib,

My previous badly composed and grammatically incorrect mails disturbed few" linguists" of this forum which honestly  makes me embarrassed. In fact our relationship with this language is not simple . I see it as slave-master relationship and the way I was stoned or criticized endorsed my observation that no matter how civilize and educated we are, we cannot help our prejudice views or innate or inherent complexities. I fully  agree with points you raise about my incompetent and weak expression. I hope i will improve it but dear forum readers  its not my native language, i learned it as foreign language and it takes years to master writing styles. honestly i have no intension for that. Though i know i can write much better than this but here in Dubai, hardly i have any time to read and write.

I read your post carefully and like the way you mentioned iqbal and Huxley. I  re read your post to find your own findings but I failed. You did not bother to answer the  simplest question which I raised in my previous post. That is , do u ever try to know your self? take it under the ancient wisdom" Know Thy Self". Most of us believe that we know yourself very well. My whole point is that before knowing God why don't we give a simple try to know yourself, we may find few surprising facts.

thirdly, you mentioned Iqbal in both of your posts which raised my eye brows. It gives me pleasant feeling that you consider him. Normally people with modern thoughts or non-believers ignores him. to me iqbal as the noblest and highly respected scholar but regrettably I never consider him philosopher. To understand it we have to differentiate between Philosophy and scholastics. in scholastism ( Ilme Kalam) we believe in God and then solve the mysteries, in philosophy we suppose that and try to reach the reality by inductive or deductive logic. So Iqbal as we all know him as great believer, cannot be taken as Nitchze or Kiekegard or Spinoza.

I as a sincere person read most of western philosophers and liked these three for there great contributions to human history. interestingly i try nitcheze recently again, Thus spake Zarathustra, It makes me smile. The highest point they achieve as greatest discovery is happen to be a starting point in most of eastern esoteric disciplines. That is why I am not giving any reference of any person no matter how big reputation he carries. we have to discover our own truth within our own selves. We know that universities and schools are full of professors and lecturers who are writing and debating on philosophers and poets and people of this sort. i suggest you to send your respected assignments to good universities and colleges where amicable people related to this field evaluate it. this forum is may not be proper place for it.

I request to every reader of this forum to think over one simple thing. Do we know our selves? Don't say good bye to God, say good bye to this despicable impulsive idea. Logically negation of god is reverse assertion, because how can we say no to something which is not there.

Today I saw Mr Nauroz A Wein post, I would like to ask him one question. what is this 'wein' as he said he came from ' Muslim back ground' which means he is no more a Muslim or does not believe any more in this religion, so what is your new religion? and does this new faith allows you to carry such a shallow identity of cast with him? secondly you ended your post with saif-ul-malook's fame mian sabs verse, "masjid ta........" please don't take it in its obvious meaning, its subliminal, being son of poet you may understand what is subliminal. And I appreciate you to bring in the notice of many people that Hinduism is truly Monotheistic religion, yes, that's very true. And dear Mr Nauroz I would love to record my detail observation on your post, now I am pending it on next. Briefly I congratulate you for entering into the " danishwer" world.

Sincerely

abid farooq
