RASHID MUGHAL

Dear Family of the Heart:
Abdul Mutaal is leading us astray with his little learning on conditioning borrowed from here and there. I made it very clear that we are conditioned products of society beginning with our conditioning in the home, in the madrassa, all through school, and all though life. The conditioning that I referred to is the traditional and cultural conditioning associated with our history, geography, and theology. It is this conditioning which makes us act and react this way and that, and, in this case, it is probably Mutaal's own conditioning which is not allowing him to see another person's point of view with good grace.  From all the names he has dropped into his "Thoughts on Conditioning", one can tell he is completely off the mark.
