Mysteries of Mysticism

Thank you for clarifying your thoughts vis-a-vis my comments regarding the honest-trading reputation of Muhammad as the Trusted One. If you say the word 'merchant' is inappropriate, then so be it. However, I am not here to lock horns with you; I just want to make a quick comment with regard to your statement, "For me he [Muhammad] is a symbol of non-violence, patience and extreme tolerance and open-mindedness." Of course Muslims everywhere believe Muhammad was a symbol of non-violence but, as you say, he was mocked and ridiculed and harassed until he rode triumphantly back to the city of Mecca from where he was made to run for his life [Hejira].

Now, please ponder this: 1. How come Islam has been embroiled in battles of self-defence even to this day since Muhammad spoke about the religion that Allah Himself had perfected? 2. How come the most perfect book ever written tells us not to mingle with Jews and Christians?

I am really not seeking any answers to the above questions; everyone can answer them to suit themselves.

As for erecting walls of division between religions and faiths and inciting hate between Jews, Christians and Muslims (as in Israel and Palestine even today), the Koran states, "Allah is an enemy to those who reject Faith [Islam]" (2:98). You may, if you wish, please tell Family of the Heart why Allah would render Himself so partial in such volatile and sensitive matters, and what will happen to Hindus and Buddhists and all the Eskimos and others who indulge in alternative spiritualities on the Day of Judgment?

Thank you.
