Iffat Zehra's question in Seminar about Darwin's theory

Dear Mutaal:

I think you have raised lot of philosophical mind-boggling question. But the question is much more simple than you are assuming. You are asking what does the term God means?

I think in monotheism it means some one who is the creator, and every thing in universe belongs to him. This does not mean we have to go into details and start describing the details of who or what he is. I simply believe in that and i am not interested in figuring out what he is and what he is not because it is matter of common sense. At least it is making more sense than assuming that there is no creator and the whole universe came to exist by itself and there is no SOURCE of this all, I think there are many among us who simply believe in this: that there is a SOURCE to the matter which we see around us. In present times this is the most scientific way of seeing religion.

In my opinion those people are scientifically religious and i think most close to the concept of God than any other region because they don't involve themselves in to unnecessary details of any sect of religion. Please reply.
