Dear Friends:
In the course of our
discussion, few very important statements/questions have
come up that deserve further attention. May I copy the
name of authors followed by questions? Obviously anybody
could try on those questions including their authors.
Jawaid Chaudhry (Virk):
There has never been a religious war. Is it correct?
Hassan
Mirza: “…she is able to transform the inherited fire
of humanity from a flame to a tulip”. If it is true,
how would to explain mother-in-law and daughter-in-law
phenomena and many other situations like that?
Javed
I. Chaudry: Sure there is a long history of wars, but am
I correct to understand you as if it is your opinion
that religion has been cause of no war and no suffering?
Dr. Alikhan: It will be interesting to read your views.
“…male
sees the overall picture, a female concentrates on the
microscopic details” Please
elaborate on endocrine-psycho-biology.
Rashid Mughal:
“violence, whether inner, outer or otherwise, springs
from within the individual self”. Sure, the question
is WHY does it [violence] spring from "self"?
Subuhi: Patriarchical
Deity – Is it mere a coincidence? Any ideas, why there
was evolution of patriarchic and not matriarchic deity?
Please help us understand this better.
Rafi Aamer’s question to
all: “…is there such a thing out there that can be
called “justifiable violence”? There was another
interesting idea in the post also: Moral violence?
Million dollar question
that was raised by Mr. Aziz Ahmad: “Do laws and
justice system of a society have a bearing on violence
in that society”? I think a question could not have
been more real and more profound!
Thank you for sharing your
insight.
