here's the outline of my presentation. I will be speaking from these notes & will not be writing a detailed version.

 Hope that will be okay as this is my first involvement with the Family of the Heart.

1. Terrorism: Literal meaning & what it represents in today's political
    context.
2. Why only "Islamic terrorism" when other religious groups are also using
    similar "unacceptable" modes
3. What the Holy Quran has to say about "rules of engagement"
4. Causes  & origin of so called "Islamic" terrorism
5. Resolution of this issue:
    a) How the world specially the western powers can mitigate this
    scourge - collaboration NOT confrontation
    b) More importantly, what can the Muslims, as individuals & the
    Islamic states do to positively channel the Muslim Ummah?
    c) Role of Muslims living in the West & non-Muslim countries.
   
   
    I will briefly elaborate on the above, keeping in view the time allocated
    to each speaker.
