Your letters are very honest, truthful, powerful,
bold and to the point. I admire your good writing.
I also agree with you that we must try to figure out what went wrong. Although
we can debate that here, but we all have our opinions and experiences about it.
I say, lets not lose focus in endless, and perhaps not
conclusive debates. In my last post I alluded to what went wrong is so obvious
to me. However, lots of people might disagree. Therefore I did not even write
anything about it. Our main object is to have peace now.
I also agree with the letters you wrote to Ilyas
Sahib. I definitely do not blame just the Hindus, alone.
Mr. Ilyas also agrees with our basic objective, howsoever from a different
perspective. Perhaps one day he will change his opinion, or you and I will
change our opinions.
Internet, as you mentioned is a very strong tool. Several years ago, we realized
that the dark ages of the past, where newspapers, and televisions deliberately
held back truth, [remember Rachel Corrie?] their periods are over because of
internet. I'm talking about politics, propaganda, religions, etc. here. Now,
propaganda is not acceptable. Now, we have caught the liars. Especially those in
our own backyards have to be held accountable first.
Because of Internet, children all over the world are making friends with each
other's. Their numbers will only increase. Time is coming that we [the world]
all become one big community. What could be better?
